Epoxy Primer Surfacer is designed to work over properly prepared bare aluminum, magnesium, fiberglass, steel galvanized and some woods and plastics. It may be applied to repair areas for fast filling of touch ups as well. It’s tenacious adhesion to substrates, fast build, and ease of sanding, wet or dry, makes it a logical choice for the base of a long lasting paint job.

• Mix 1 part A Epoxy to 1 part B Catalyst by volume. Can be reduced up to 10% with RU Series reducer.

• Order Part A and Part B for a complete kit.

Direct to Metal Primer has been formulated with a hybrid of epoxy and acrylic polymers, which provide excellent adhesion, good corrosion, resistance, productive dry times, and ease of sanding. These primers emit very low amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Polluting Solvents (HAPS), and contain no isocyanates. This primer may be applied to properly cleaned and sanded aluminum, steel, galvanized steel, sand blasted steel, fiberglass and SMC.

• Mix 4 parts KD2000 to 1 part KDA2000 to 1 parts RU Series reducer (for 2.1 VOC, RU300 must be used).

KD3000 is a hybrid epoxy two component primer designed to be used as a DTS or Direct to Substrate High Build High Build Surfacer, Medium Build Surfacer/High Build Sealer, or silky smooth sealer. Available in 6 premixed colors which can be intermixed for a wide range of colors. KD3000 is an industry first and undisputedly the best foundation system available. KD3000 has excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance, productive dry times, and ease of sanding. These DTS surfacer/sealers emit very low amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Polluting Solvents (HAPS), and contain no isocyanates. The KD3000 Series DTS surfacer/sealers may be applied to the existing OEM finish, bare steel, aluminum, fiberglass, galvanized surfaces, and various plastics. Its tenacious adhesion, hi-build, excellent durability, and water and corrosion resistance and ease of sanding make it a superior choice for the basis of a long lasting custom paint job.

• Mix 4 to 1 to use as a high build primer

Ko-Seal II is a two-component acrylic urethane primer sealer. Available in black, white, and metallic bases, this product meets VOC requirements nation wide.

• Mix 4 parts KS Series primer to 1 part KU100\KU150 catalyst to 1 part RU Series reducer (for 2.1 VOC, RU300 must be used).

• Can be tinted with any Kandy Koncentrate(KK) to adjust hue closer to a particular Kandy Kolor

SS01 House of Kolor Silver Sealer is the only silver sealer in the automotive paint business. Considered a must under all metallic based colors for easy to spray even coverage of metallic basecoats. Fewer topcoats will be necessary for additional savings. SS01 is a premium polyurethane catalyzed sealer system providing tenacious adhesion and long term color hold out. Engineered to work over House of Kolor’s new KD3000 Direct to Surface colored primer system, KP, KS, KD systems, and OE finishes. SS01 can also be custom tinted with up to 10% of Kandy Koncentrate for an even closer color match under Shimrin2® and original Shimrin® basecoats and Kandy basecoats.

• Mix 6 parts SS01 to 1 part KU152 catalyst

• Can not be applied to bare metal

Bleed check is a two-component acrylic urethane sealer designed to stop the bleed through of products. Bleed Check will stop bleeding colors from interfering with artwork.

• The following HOK products have a tendency to bleed: KBC05, KBC10, KBC13, KK05, KK10, KK13, UK05, UK10 and UK13. We recommend using Bleed Check over the products to protect artwork.

• Mix 4 parts SBS10 to 1 part KU100\KU150 to 1 parts RU Series reducer, then add 6 ml of AX01 Accelerator per mixed quart of SBS10 Bleed Check used.
